Biography
Frank Squire Welsman, conductor, pianist and teacher, was born in Toronto, 20 Dec 1873, and died in Muskoka,
ON, 2 July 1952. After studies in Germany, he founded the Toronto Conservatory Symphony Orchestra,
which in 1908 became the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. See the Canadian Encyclopedia for a full biography.
